Work in full swing at Keerbergen!
Following a detailed audit last year, course development work is currently well underway at Keerbergen Golfclub and Diamond Golf Architects has recently completed phase 1 of the 3-phase project. Phase 1 involved replacing and enlarging the greens, repositioning and reshaping the bunkers, and reviewing and enhancing the individual holes for a more challenging game.
This highly acclaimed 18-hole golf course is situated in what is described as 'an oasis of peace and quiet' near Brussels and was originally built in 1968.

Golf like it used to be at Hainaut
Phase-1, involving work across the first 9-holes, is also now complete at renowned Royal Golf Club du Hainaut. Designed in 1938 by the esteemed English golf architect, Tom Simpson, the 6695-yard par 72 course, also located near Brussels, is often described as 'one of the best golf courses in northern Europe'.
Diamond Golf Architects has designed a new 'vintage' style course, which combines modern day low maintenance with the look of a classic course from yesteryear. This new style has been implemented at Hainaut with impressive results. Diamond Golf was in fact the introducer of the first ragged-shaped bunker in Belgium and now hopes that other courses will adopt the classic vintage look across the Country.
